Maui Resort
Wedding Sites
- You might want to have your wedding at
one of the many resort sites. You can do this by going directly
through us. By doing this you will save a lot of money over the
packages which are offered by the hotels. You will also find
that our service is generally much better as most of the resorts
have a high turnover rate with their employees.

West
Maui
-
- Kapalua Bay
Resort (Kapalua)
-
- This beautiful little bay offers two excellent
sites overlooking the ocean in West Maui. At the moment, both of these
two areas are under construction and are unavailable. But they may be
something you can have later if your wedding date is not coming up too
soon.
-
-

- Kapalua Bay Terrace -- We perform your wedding ceremony on the lawn overlooking
Kapalua Bay. Because the site is private property, it has the
advantage of being controlled. The site fee we charge for this
location is quite reasonable.
-
-

-
-

-
- The Point at Kapalua Bay -- This beautiful grassy bluff overlooks Kapalua Bay
and the offshore islands of Lanai and Molokai is perfect for
either small or large weddings. The resort does require a high fee and
also requires guests to be staying at the hotel. Have your reception catered on
the bluff or go inside the Kapalua Bay Hotel to one of their
many fine restaurants, each with a romantic view.
-
- Embassy Suites
(Kahana)
-
-

-
- This resort is located in Kahana on a
long sandy beach. The grassy garden and gazebo wedding site area
have been wisely laid out so that other guests staying at the
resort will not normally pass through the area. The Embassy also
boasts two small water falls on their property which can be used
for pictures taking opportunities. This is one of the more reasonably
priced resort wedding sites.
-
-

-
- The Hyatt
Regency (Ka'anapali)
-
- The Hyatt's has three sites within the
center of its property. All of these sites are laid out in such
a way that other hotel guests will be walking past your wedding
not leaving you much privacy. When you look at the prices that
the hotel charges for these sites, you'll probably feel that
this not one of the better values on Maui.
-
- The Gazebo at the
Maui Westin
(Ka'anapali)
-
-
- The Westin has a solid and attractive
gazebo for your wedding ceremony. The extensive grounds of the
resort also offer many other photographic possibilities. They
have water falls, pools, ponds, garden pathways and nice palms
overlooking the ocean.
-
- The site definitely has a lot of picture
taking opportunities. Inside the resort buildings their are many
areas that will make for rather nice photography.
-

-

-
-
-
- The Pavilion at the
Maui Westin
(Ka'anapali)
-
- The Pavilion at the Maui Westin offers a
beautiful setting for a larger group. It can accommodate groups up to
100. But you should be aware that this site is now extremely
expensive. With the picturesque waterfall for a backdrop behind the
wedding ceremony and the proximity
to the beach for sunset photos, this is an ideal location for your
romantic wedding in paradise.

South
Maui

The Renaissance (Wailea)
-
- The Renaissance in Wailea boasts one of
the most attractive sites for a small wedding party. The grassy
site has an intimate feeling for a small party and the wedding
ceremony is usually performed between two palms next to a pond
and is surrounded by a garden.
-
- Many of the resort sites are not really
very secluded. This one is better than the average. It is also
reasonably priced and we consider it to be one of the better
values in a resort setting.
-
-
-
-
- The Outrigger
(Wailea)
-
-
This site is nice for afternoon weddings. You can
see the West Maui mountains in the distance in the photography.
They are best captured when they are hit by the morning sunlight.
This small grassy site is next to a koi pond and offers good
views of the ocean and the palms on the property behind. The
photographer was standing on the long stairway leading down from
the main lobby, so the wedding site is close to a major traffic
area.
-
- The Outrigger offers many nice photography
possibilities on their property. The site fee is also quite reasonable
as far as Resort sites go.
-
-
-
-
- The Kea Lani
(Makena)
-
-

-
- The Kea Lani offers a gazebo with two
long parallel flights of stairs with fountains a several fountains
between them for the brides grand entrance for your video. The
property also have many grassy areas and pools suitable for wedding
photography before and after the ceremony. The resort is above
a fine sandy beach with some lava rock outcroppings that will
enhance your beach photos.
-
- The Kea Lani also has a second beach front
area reserved for weddings.
-
- The Maui
Prince (Makena)
-
- The grounds of the Maui Prince located
below the hotel offer a nice garden setting for outdoor weddings,
set right next to the free Maluaka Beach and Park (see Garden
Sites). In addition, the resort also has their nice water
falls which is surrounded by the building (see Water Falls).
-
- The Grand
Wailea (Wailea)
-
-
-
- The Grand Wailea has several gazebos and
excellent grounds for picture taking. But you must understand
that all of the weddings done onsite are the same price as the chapel. Whether
you use only the gazebo and/or their wedding chapel, you will
pay the same large amount. To see the chapel, go to Chapel
Sites.
-
- The Sea Watch
Restaurant (Makena)
-
- This site is reasonably priced and has
an excellent view of the area and the ocean. It is also perfect
for your reception or dinner after the wedding. The restaurant now
boasts three different Maui wedding locations. Two are below the
restaurant and one is above it.
-
-
- This site will accommodate up to 150. Because
the Sea Watch is on a golf course, the grounds are green and
attractive. The view below is of the pool behind the restaurant.

The
Diamond Resort (Wailea)

If you're looking for an affordable, gazebo site
on the south side of the island, Diamond Resort might be just the
thing you're looking for. This is an elegant 15-acre resort nestled on
a
grassy hillside overlooking Wailea, commanding spectacular
panoramic ocean views.
The rental of the gazebo is for two hours, set-up of
twenty chairs and an undecorated archway. Rental of additional chairs
is also available. If you want to have your reception right there, they
offer a private dining room which seats up to 25 guests with a lovely
waterfall view. The grounds of Diamond Resort which will be available
to you for photography, also includes a couple of small waterfalls and
small bridges.
